FEBRUARY ASTROLOGICAL JOURNEY
TURNING THE PAGE
That’s it... right! We’re ready to turn the page on many things in our lives. Sick of certain things, perhaps even people we’re associated with. Ready really to move on to something new, before we fall into old patterns once again.
It’s going to be one of those months, with significant shifts happening due to the transitions taking place. Hopefully the weather cooperates, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there weren’t a few blips in the radar of unexpected storms and the like. For that matter, even protests and conflicts as we slowly move into the new Era of Air. Yes, that’s right, we are doing a completely different thing, as we open the Air Era and launch ourselves into, the future. This month highlights the significance of Aquarius.
It sort of all begins here, which started at the end of January when Pluto glided into the sign of Aquarius. It is no longer the dawning of Aquarius, it is Aquarius. So, what exactly does all that mean. A lot as it turns out. For starters we are leaving behind the earth element, and like all new era’s we are on a slow trajectory forward for the next 200 years. Pluto is the planet of changes, which are deeply felt in its transformational energy to dismantle things by exposing them. In the process of this, we can find ourselves downgraded as we search for deeper meaning to our existence. Aquarius is about humanity and of course our connection to one another. Some of these connections happen now through the world wide web, which was created under the blip of Air, that occurred between 1980 and 2000. Things moved at a rapid pace forward in the technologies, connecting us all through this medium of communication. Technologies and inventions hit an all time high, until it began to come crumbling down when the bubble burst in 2000 and we hit earth once again. That’s over now, so expect us all to see futuristic advancements in the sciences, technologies, genetics, artificial intelligence, space travel and explorations.
Aquarius is also about our own humanity, and Pluto will show us the dysfunction in it. Pluto could show us the criminality hidden beneath the surface. The rawness of our connections, and what our true intentions really are. The hidden motives behind our actions. Pluto is also about those deeper hidden secrets of sexuality, pornography, and sextortion. Which significantly begins to appear within our social networks. People’s activities on the dark web involving criminality, backroom deals, and the like.
The thing that’s transpire this month, is the inner planets of Mercury, Sun, Mars, and Venus all are triggering this point of 00 degrees of Aquarius, which was where the great conjunction arrived on December 21, 2020, when Saturn and Jupiter arrived ushering in this new Era. It’s a sensitive point, whereby things begin to shift and change. After all Uranus the ruler of Aquarius seeks to change things, which comes suddenly, without much notice. Anxious to move on and to explore new territory. Uranus strikes at lightening speed finding ourselves in a totally different place and time. The dial shifts and the wheel turns. For some this is very disruptive and chaotic energy. Pushing us beyond our limits. It’s dynamite and somewhat explosive. Shattering our perspectives. “Need is the mother of invention”. Pushing us forward rapidly into uncomfortable places, where we haven’t been before.
First MERCURY JOINS PLUTO on the 5th of February. Bringing out secrets hidden underneath the layers of protection. Expect news events, about possible discoveries, AI technologies, social media events or issues, new inventions, or science discoveries. New conspiracy theories and strategies.
MARS JOINS PLUTO on Valentines Day. This is a tremendous force of energy. Since it’s at the beginning of a sign, we could see new initiatives set forth for military activities. New technologies in warfare. It can be both constructive energy for machinery tech. Figuring out puzzles with mining. There is greed associated with this through Pluto’s rulership of wealth. Control issues, seeking to achieve the impossible. Improvements to the affairs of humanity signal strong here. New drums of War can transpire.
The final connection is with VENUS AS SHE JOINS WITH PLUTO’S initiation into Aquarius on the 17th of February. This is a sultry connection. Full of karmic emotional involvement. Determined to make connections to those we adore, seek partnership, or believe we love. Attraction is mysterious, full of affairs, risk taking which brings passionate responses. Sexual diseases could surface here. Life and death issues with expressions of artistic pursuits which hold deeper meaning. Drama is involved. Music, performances, operas, or serious plays. Romeo and Juliet.
The next major event transpiring is SATURN QUINTILE URANUS. Making their first connection on February 6th. The second pass will arrive on Sept 30th and November 3rd for 2024. Quintiles are talented aspects, producing creativity through understanding patterns or the structure of how things can work. With Saturn and Uranus together, we can see a new way of looking at how to construct or structure various elements within our society. Saturn after all is very traditional in forming our realities. Thus, we can expect new technologies to form in building or making new world constructions. Inventions or out of the world concepts, which haven’t been realized. This can bring solutions to old problems. Architecture, artistic styles, begin to emerge which is different as previously we didn’t understand the concept of fixing or evolving the model of potentials which existed. As well, social systems or political viewpoints can shift, as new broadening concepts are implemented into reality. Issues surrounding freedoms, equality equitability can be realized through new models of conception. There is a variety here to drive forward by strengthening and moving forward with our desires for change. Personal power is strong to develop talents through inspirational ideas.
Throughout the month, Jupiter is under pressure this month, as he is hit by the inner planets. This can produce extremes. Over exaggerations of righteousness, truth issues, legal issues over law or legislation. This could challenge the legal system with appeals on various decisions made. Lawsuits or difficulties for legislation of various laws. Immigration exaggerations or an over whelming need to deal with or handle the immigration as crisis is formed. Crusades over religious beliefs and religious doctrine, which could produce religious war mongering. Universities and the higher learning system over various religious beliefs are once again under pressure.
This begins shortly after the New Moon on February 9th and is included in this energy as the following day, Mercury will square Jupiter. Followed shortly there after with Venus on the 24th, which coincides with the Full Moon energy on that day. Several days later, Mars steps into activation of these triggers. Motivating initiation of the rhetoric and expenses which have already been put in place. A bit testy energy here, which could lead to extreme measures being taken.
FEB 10TH: MERCURY SQUARE JUPITER:
Please try not to exaggerate or even lie around this time. This is connected to self gratification. It’s one of the propaganda aspects, which lead someone into believing one should speak up for a just cause. Fighting for a crusade or belief in something fundamental to the belief system. Fighters for religious purposes. Different sets of beliefs clash against each other. The legal system could be involved in relation to new laws being implemented and the distortion of the meaning of them. Extremism is highlighted. Overspending and wasting of valuable resources. There is a need for change in the proposals for environmental concerns, perhaps legal laws established will be under pressure for modification.
FEB 24TH: VENUS SQUARE JUPITER:
This is an energy, which produces over extravagance. Lavish spending on loved ones or for personal items people adore or love. Showing off with overspending on luxury items or at social events. Pretending to be something you are not unless you have the money to substantiate these expenses. Difficulty with wasting necessities. Things not being utilized and appreciated fully.
FEB 27TH: MARS SQUARE JUPITER:
This is another indication of action being taken by the planning from Mercury’s connection to Jupiter on February 10th. This exaggerates War or military action due to a belief in justice of what is being done is right or righteous. Fanatical actions demonstrate biases against others, which produce extremism. Terrorism against others for a perceived belief in what they are doing. This is restless energy, that needs an outlet for stimulation.
We have CHIRON AND THE NORTH NODE, moving to join with each other exact on March 5th, but certainly beginning to influence us this month, beginning on February 11th. This really combines to form a great deal of healing around personal issues. Chiron represents deep wounds, covered over, and re-opened throughout our lives. In Aries, there will be a focus on one’s personal experiences. A strong urge to assist also in the healing of the world. Pollution, wars, environmental concerns, living conditions. A need to heal various areas of the planet. Issues surrounding sovereignty, individual rights, and freedoms.
Both VENUS AND MARS come together on the 22nd of February, just as both the Sun and Mercury enter the sign of Pisces. This seems very positive energy. Coming together to form alliances, negotiations, or peaceful agreements. This can bring breakthroughs in stalls or stagnation of various situations. This can also produce attractions or partnerships to manifest, especially for the purpose of creativity. There is an aligning of energy, which is passionate. Issues surrounding financial affairs and the start of certain programs in relations to the banking system. There are also new conversations arising. Compassion, sympathy surrounding humanitarian issues.
We have two Moon’s this month. The first arrives on FEBRUARY 9TH. Rising as a NEW MOON at the 20th degree of Aquarius. There is a very intensive focus with this Moon’s energy, due to the tightly packed array of planets only in the signs between Capricorn and Taurus. It holds a locomotive pattern with Venus leading the charge in the serious sign of Capricorn. Giving us a direct focus upon business matters, control, and leadership issues. Especially surrounding money or financial wellbeing. We could feel under pressure here to complete something. Yet, Venus is just past a trine with Uranus, which could initiate the desire to change. Disruptions are evident with delays or unexpected interruptions. It’s a good idea to be flexible and engaged. More investments into the sciences, technologies or for the protection of cyber hacking or spying through the web or sexting. Protection issues arise as new website wares hop on board. Since the New Moon squares Uranus, we can also see disruptions to the electrical systems, airlines, sudden storms or earthquakes, bombings, hacking or cyber defaults, so protect your passwords. Problems potentially in the banking systems or financial sectors. This is a sensitive point with the New Moon as this is where Jupiter and Uranus will join on April 20th, 2024.
The next Moon arrives as a FULL MOON ON FEBRUARY 24TH, in Virgo. Once again at the 5th degree of a sign. The 5th in a series of 6 Full Moon’s landing at this degree. Virgo is ancient wisdom, seeking to heal through natural remedies or means. It can be super critical as it seeks to improve itself and others. The trine to Ceres indicates a need to also heal through the establishment of new regulations for food distribution and government control in establishing healthier options for a more holistic approach to eating nourishing food. Yet, we can feel unbalanced here, due to a lack of strategy to go forward and a cloudy mind in how to implement these measures. We could see resistance. Virgo is very much about the order of things, hospitals, medical workers, police, which could all be a tad disorganized or in a flux. Food distributions could seem promising for those in need of it, like humanitarian measures, but lack the constitution for implementation. The Sun is approaching a conjunction to Saturn in opposition to the Moon which makes things scares and limiting or restrictive in some manner. The boundaries are blurred of what we can do and can’t. Even though the problems are glaring us right in the face.

This gives us expression of compassion. Creativity is high with possibilities. It’s optimistic and hopeful by bringing solutions about through understanding of what is needed. Creative expressions for the arts, music, or theatre.

We obviously have issues within relationships that can be triggered today. Old wounds can open up with the slightest hint of memory of a bad experience. Personal issues can be raw with emotions. Financial concerns or mishandling of money are also highlighted. If we focus on a goal we can move forward in resolving our issues.

This is a very sparky day. Full of excitement and potential. Sudden attractions or spending could fill the day. There is a need to get out, so it’s a great day for shopping, but one needs to be cautious of impulse buying. A good day for surprises such as gift giving, proposals or unexpected good fortune.
MARS SEXTILE NEPTUNE:
We could feel a tad lazy here, so it’s good for that socializing mentioned earlier. A time to think outside the box. A good day to be inspired by your actions or someone elses. Compassionate acts of sympathy arise. Good for the theatre, photographers, music, film making, crafts or artistic pursuits.

Whew, lots of challenges from the New Moon and now. Unexpected information emerging, which seem impractical as we all just jump to conclusions. Possible disagreements due to unexpected remarks. A disconnection with reality on many levels, yet an originality to speak spontaneously. Foot in mouth issues. Nervousness. Communication is off along with distribution issues. Trade, shipping or movement of goods and services could be interrupted or delayed. Problems with shipping, airlines, mail, or orders online. Hacking or cyber attacks. Interference in communication channels. Exposure of various information or new events. Earth problems, sudden storms, or earthquakes. Weather disruptions.

This often brings a new conversation into the public perception, as old thoughts or issues are burned up and our attention shifts to new events transpiring. This is a superior conjunction, whereby we are sifting through information at a rather fast pace. Even to the point of being overloaded with communication issues. With so much on the mind, it’s hard to convey the full scope of all that is going on, which could make us overwhelmed, especially since Mars is now square to Jupiter. Yet, we could have some breakthroughs here in negotiations or terms and conditions emerging for resolution of various problems. Issues are about Pisces, and our faith or belief systems once again. The hidden elements being buried or forgotten. The victimization of some, or the perceived victimization of self.
SUN/MERCURY CONJUNCT SATURN:
This is serious business, as this could be a time of limitations, inhibitions, or purposeful delays. There is an element of control as the messenger seeks the audience of the king. A time of serious talks, negotiations, or agreements. An element of control or restraint of some kind until things are resolved verbally. This could be a time of re-negotiation where war is happening around the world.
The month ends with MERCURY SEXTILE TO JUPITER:
Giving us a lighter tone to finish this Leap year off. Promises are made, agreements exchanged, and things look hopeful as we head into March.
This is a month whereby we Turn the Page. Set the tone for what’s coming in the future. It’s a month to pay attention. Wake up to your own defaults in programing. Change course and react differently to various situations as we awaken to March and the upcoming need to heal our wounds heading into the future.
