Anything Is Possible 

October 22, 2022 – May 5th, 2023

The term Out of Bounds is in relation to the Sun’s movement across the ecliptic. The Ecliptic is the plan in which the Sun travels yearly. From our perspective, the Sun appears to move around us. In its yearly movement it moves both north and south of the Equator. Creating summer both in the north and southern hemispheres. When it reaches its farthest point both north and south, the degree of measurement is called a declination or distance from the equator. The farthest distance the Sun ever reaches in its movement is 23 degrees-27 minutes, north or south of the equator line. Creating the Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice.

This span of space is considered in bound’s territory. If one thinks of it like a game. This is the line of play, whereby the ball needs to stay within this area to be considered in play and active. If the ball goes beyond this line, it then is out of bounds and considered no longer within the guidelines of the game being played. [1]. This is then the scope of what is considered to be acceptable game territory. So, when a planet goes beyond this point it no longer needs to adhere to the rules in play. The energy of whatever planet has gone beyond this point is no longer following the rules of the game. Acting in whatever way it presents itself in. Depending on the sign it’s in and what connections it’s making to other planets. Often acting unusual or different from what is considered normal at the time. Thus, anything is Possible with this planet’s energy.

This makes the energy of Mars erratic, unpredictable and a bit out of control. It’s free to express itself in what way it seems fit. Thus, the expression of Mars, which is activities, physical activities, conquests, ventures can become unusual or different, as there is nothing to hold back or contain its energy. It’s allowed to see outside the lines. There are now no limits, no boundaries to contain or control the energy manifesting. Therefore, Mars begin to break the rules of the game. It can act outside the scope of what, is deemed acceptable social behavior. At times this can be perceived as dangerous, especially with Mars, and it can get carried away with its inspirational actions. However, it can also produce innovative trends, or activities. In this case, Mars begins to produce an unusual way of communicating. At first it may not be deemed as sociably acceptable, but as we move along, we get used to it. We can find ourselves doing some of these activities ourselves. We can begin to adopt a more masculine approach. We can demonstrate more ego as we look at our possibilities. We can be more confident in trying new things. We may feel like we can do as we please, producing selfish behavior. We don’t' feel trapped or contained by anyone or anything. [2]

People born with Out of Bounds planets are often trend setters or known for their unusual behaviors or thoughts. Drawing people to see things from a unique perspective. There are others, depending on their chart configurations, who produce negative actions or thoughts, as they believe they do not have to adhere to the rules of society. Thus, criminal behavior can also be associated with Out of Bounds planets.

Mars is a highly active planet. Without it we are unable to do anything physical in life. It can be very forceful, aggressive, and courageous. It is the Ego, the testosterone, which drives our assertiveness. As such it can become overwhelming for others to deal with, as it forces its way forward. Connected with masculine energy, its position out of bounds can become extreme in its application. Physical vitality increases, aggressive actions full of self-confidence and powering plays are initiated. As well it can lend itself to new activities, new leaders pushing their agenda forward. Activities that require stamina appear. We can all become a little more daring in our need to be bold.

Mars begins his Out of Bounds trek on October 22nd, just as Venus makes her first Star Point by joining the Sun in Cazami in the new sign of Libra. He formally crosses the line on the 24th, of October 2022. He lifts off, due to being in the air sign of Gemini at the beginning of this phase. He comes back inbounds in the waters of Cancer on May 25th, 2023. This is an overly extended period of time spent exploring unknown territory.

From Oct 22nd, 2022, until March 25th, 2023, Mars will be in the agile sign of Gemini. Gemini is a terribly busy sign. With Mars here, our attention shifts from the physical activities of Taurus to the thinking elements of Gemini. This is where we accumulate facts, stories, and information. It’s an erratic energy, producing activity all over the place, with the inability to sit still. With Mars, we have little time to take a break, as we rush to catch up on things. Since Gemini is about information, we can see tempers fly if one does not agree with the far-out opinions and actions being presented. It can become confusing, scattered, fragmented and changeable to suit the situation. There will be an overly exaggeration within ideas, and the force to push those ideologies upon others. If others won’t accept them, strong aggressive behavior can be pursued if one is not aware of the energy. The frenzy gathering of facts or information grabs hold of us, with a thirst for gossip. The story lines can get bigger and bigger of what was done, who done it with dramatizations or re-enactments included. For some this will be all fun and games, a light-hearted exchange of entertainment. It can all become over stimulating, as we attempt to sort out the irrational information from the rational. If one won’t accept the stories then the story will change, alter itself until someone is caught in a bind of untruths.

There’s a bitter taste left in the mouth. From a previous exchange. Mars is slowing down here at the beginning of his Out of Bound phase as he prepares to station retrograde come Halloween. This adds to the tensions, as though we are all on edge about what someone did or said. We could be mulling over these exchanges and feel as though we’ve been lied too. Question Everything, even from your best friend or partner.

Mars will make three passes with Neptune in square aspect (90-degree separation). Beginning just prior to his movements both backwards and out of bounds, he makes his first connection on Oct 12th, 2022. This point of activation is the trigger point to what is about to transpire. In your own life, what was going on during the middle of October is relevant to the actions you will take next, which can quickly get out of control.

Mars and Neptune together create strange behavior. You could feel as though someone is keeping something from you. Hiding activities, absent from certain events. Making promises that don’t materialize. Liaisons, scandals, and back-room deals. There is anxiety about it all, and when or if you find out, it’s not going to be anything you first imagined it to be!

We surrender to peculiar infatuations of daydreaming. Feelings of lust arise or various forms of attraction, that we can’t seem to let go. A simple word, wink or touch can trigger our crush towards another. Our imagination can run wild, affecting our real lives in a negative fashion. We can get caught up in the party. Be convinced to do things we’d otherwise not do. Be convinced to hide things, move things from one point to the next and not really know what we are getting ourselves into. People have hidden motives, which can seem dishonest, deceitful, and full of treachery and scandal.

On the world stage, we can have an increase in drug trafficking. Sexual issues such as prostitution or human trafficking can get out of hand. Alcoholism and the distribution of these items can seem over the top, with an increase in its usage. Smoking and vaping are highlighted. New alcoholic drinks can emerge, or new flavors of smoking. But chances are we don’t know what the real ingredients are. Prison systems and hospitals will be highlighted and the use of various drugs within these institutions. Mental health problems or institutions are highlighted.

We can get carried away here, indulging in an activity which can be both exciting and edgy. New forms of music or art can begin to emerge, which at first seem strange. Our imagination runs wild with books, stories and learning a particular task, which seems trivial, but can be highly addictive. Scandals can emerge and news stories can break wide open with shocking bizarre events attached to them. Who and what are behind the mask presented. What are the real reason things are happening?

Water issues, flooding and drought in various regions can be difficult to deal with due to freakish storm systems. Ocean and shipping difficulties arise. Trade routes over the ocean and disruptions to the fishing industries.

Bizarre crimes can arise. Mob mentalities, with Mars out of bounds. Strange episodes of psychosis or other elements. Espionage, spying, and undercover operations.

Social media and strange stories surface. Lots of elements related to Face, Twitter, Tic Tok, and other connections to hidden organizations which spread propaganda and tall tales of adventure.

Expect strange occurrences with the psychic world. A heightened dream world begins to present itself. Intuition is high and perhaps a spirit here and there invading your space. Hauntings are on the rise. More activity within the spiritual community.

This is all great for the arts. Painting a vision of their dream. New trends in physical activities and outdoor sporting venues. Great for writing that book you’ve dreamed of. Getting involved in group discussions or attending events which are different in your community.

Mars will then connect with Neptune on November 19th with his final square being on March 14th of 2023. It’s important for you not to be complacent.

Due to Mars in retrograde from Oct 31st to Jan 15th, we can be reviewing our options. Going over degrees he held from Sept 4th to Oct 31st. It’s important to remember this period of time, to ascertain, what needs your attention. You could find you are redoing things, as things get lost or misplaced. It can be exhausting to say the least. Too much information or sorting our information seem likely.

Mars will then head into the sign of Cancer come March 25th, 2023. Our agenda shifts here as we begin to refocus our attention on other interests. Here Mars is in his fall. Whereby the actions we take are not as supported as one would like. Then when we don’t get to do what we want, we can become emotionally frustrated or angry. With Mars in his fall, certain things fall out of favor. That we need to back up a bit and look at things differently.

On the domestic scene, with Mars out of bounds, there could be a feeling that we don’t need to hold back our actions any longer. Breaking up with various connections we have with family members. Domestic relations are difficult due to discord and a need to behave or act in a different manner is prominently expressed.

Issues in health surrounding digestion, ulcers or stomach upsets can surface as perhaps new ways of managing these problems surface. Fue season could be extended with high fevers or inflammatory diseases.

New housing solutions that are out of the box arise. Improving homes or restructuring already existing homes into a new model seem probable. New strategies to sell the housing problems are likely, but not accepted to begin with. Some of us can find that we are packing our bags and moving homes. We can feel like we are not welcomed and need to move on. For some it will be the opposite and moving home, closer to family as they feel as though they are an outsider in their present communities. Communal Living.

Cancer is a soft sign. Very patriotic and protective of their homeland. New measure could be taken to ensure safety or security for various countries, or communities. Measures can be taken by governments to eliminate the threats it perceives as dangerous. There is pressure to act or react. Innovative technologies of how to keep safe. Security systems and cameras for protection.

The food industry, especially from those places such as restaurants, distribution centers, soup kitchens, or places that we gather to enjoy a home-made meal or to get the ingredients for one. We could see a new model of grocery shopping, or it becomes popular to order your meals from a company and then make them at home.

Mars out of Bounds produces unusual solutions and extremes to existing problems. It realizes new trends, valuable information seeps out with a heightened sense of awareness of our actions. Our disillusionments can carry us away. A time to be away on a vacation on some remote island. We must be hyper-diligent to us the increased energy to our favor and produce positive information for others to learn, be inspired by, so they can venture forth creatively.

Our reactions are our own. How we react or don’t react is entirely up to the individual, and not the product of others.

As Henry David Thoreau, Walden stated: “If a man does not keep pace with is companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or faraway”
