NOVEMBER ASTROLOGICAL JOURNEY
AWAKENING THE DRAGON: IN THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON
The air becomes crisp as we move through November. Ready and waiting for the flakes of snow to grace our doorsteps. We are still falling back, as the earth recedes like the low tide going out to the other side. We can feel exposed and perhaps a little vulnerable. Shoring up our medicines and nesting into our homes for warmth. A good book, cup of tea as we seek shelter rather than exploring our surroundings.
We are still sailing through the veil. Transitioning from the light to the dark. Shadows greeting us in hallways as Samhain begins the new year on the witch calendar. Asking thanks from our ancestors to provide safety as we journey forward. We remain in this ethereal world until the Sun peaks his head out on the other side when he enters Sagittarius on the 22nd. Hold fast and keep the faith.
THREE MOON’S IN NOVEMBER: NOV 1ST: NEW MOON; NOV 15: FULL MOON; NOV 30, NEW MOON:
We have 3 Moon’s this month. Bringing a Blue Moon into view come the closing of November. Bracketing the month in the embrace of these two New Moons. Fresh with new ideas and planting the seeds of creation. And smack in the middle, rest the super charged Full Moon on the 15th. This can be an emotional month. Setting our sights to fresh starts as we re-direct our energy. Things can seem heavier as we sip our tea. Enjoying a mystery novel. Things move slowly with much focus on the things we’ve been missing.
The first Moon resides in the sign of Scorpio. Fitting as we cross the threshold between the worlds. Dredging up secrets in its wake. We will need to be cautious that we don’t spill tales, that were divulged in private corners and whispering in ears. There are few allegiances here. Fewer commitments or promises kept. Both the ancient ruler of Scorpio and the modern ruler of Scorpio are at odds with each other. A pattern that will repeat as we head into the new year. Mars and Pluto seem to be polarizing the air, with their tug o war. Coming into focus on November 3rd, 2024. Spanning the width of the skies. It’s treacherous energy. This could promote power struggles. Producing dramatic, intense and revengeful energy. We will need to be cautious as the will of the people align against the powers that be. This could have an impact on the United States election. Things begun here are important to take note of, since the energy will occur twice more in new signs. Pluto rules the darker elements of society, producing criminal activities to bear. It is dominance and control. Opening the doors for exposure. Prostitution, rape, human trafficking, slavery the dark web or violence. Drawing back a curtain within military actions and defensive moves. Mars is action orientated with a focus on defensiveness, anger and securing our motives. We are ready to embark on a new path. Scorpio is also about financial resources and holdings, making us sensitive to new platforms of investment.
The Full Moon also speaks to us of our resources, as the Moon rests in Taurus. Making us more attached to our belongings. The things which give us value and validation. This Moon also speaks of change, as it aligns with Uranus. The opposition to the Sun in Scorpio creates tension. Perhaps upsets in the financial markets. A lack of sharing & resources within the public spheres. The Moon/Uranus trine Pluto which remains at the precarious Anaretic degree. Eager and willing to transform the systems that govern us. We are full of ideas here. A vast store of faith awaits us. To initiate the promises, we’ve made to our family and friends, but more importantly to ourselves. Yet, it’s hard to make plans, as we adjust to the shifting landscape before us. Saturn is stationing here, now ready to move forward. Yet, it’s challenged by rhetoric and gossip, which fill the halls of those in positions of authority. It seems they have no vision. Mired in confusion of who has control of what. Mercury is at a semi-square to Pluto, producing propaganda. Seeing beyond the here and now, but the exaggerations are drastic. Compelling us to trust the information rammed down our throats.
The Blue Moon on the 30th of November, rises in the vastness of space and time. Resting in the arms of Sagittarius. Which is nimble and creative in its ventures. Making plans for trips abroad and exploration of new interests. Yet, Jupiter in Gemini, puts up blockages and travel can become challenged by paperwork or schedules. Bogged down in must do’s, rather than the enjoyment of the league forward. There is much gossip here, produced by the restriction of authority and the limitations of new laws emerging. It would seem it’s more of a hassle than a positive experience. All forms of shipping, trade and distribution of goods can be challenged here. Delays are inevitable. Various restrictive measures are coming forward with immigration or school attendance. Universities or the courts seem beyond capacity to deal with certain issues. Mercury is now retrograde producing a review of these matters related to decisions. It would be best to complete your travel plans, passport issues, enrollment in university, visa’s, matters before the courts prior to this Blue Moon energy.
PLUTO TO AQUARIUS: NOV 19, 2024 -MARCH 8, 2043.
The big news in November is Pluto’s transit into the sign of Aquarius for its final breakthrough. Remaining in this sign until 2043. Aquarius speaks of change, as much as Pluto speaks of transformation. Humanity is about to shift perspectives as we navigate ideas of inclusion, equality and the collective. This may arise due to technological advances and revolutionary ideas coming forth. Ideologies of division between the powers that be, as was such the case with Pluto in Capricorn from 2008 until now. There is a lot of revolutionary ideas emerging of who has the power and control going forward. Long systemic problems may be expose with new platforms being created. Pluto also like to dismantle and change; thus, the old systems could see such a dismantling as humanity shifts. Environmental concerns, science and technological advances, space discoveries, reforms in society, group ideology, freedom from constraints. Yet the unearthing of various systems used for corruption will be exposed and changed. Aquarius is rather unusual, thus the emergence of hidden societies existing within mainstream can surface. Pluto can be challenging as one thing dies to expose the need for something to replace it.
MERCURY STATIONS RETROGRADE. NOV 7TH: ENTERS SHADOW; NOV 26: STATIONS RETROGRADE: DEC 16TH: STATIONS DIRECT; JAN 3RD: BREAKING NEW GROUND:
Mercury’s journey through Sagittarius is extended due to the retrograde station arising this month. He is slowing down by the 7th of November. This shadow period can cause issues as we revert inwards to our own dialogue.
Sagittarius is a sign of justice, truth, morals and ethics. It’s the higher octave of Gemini which holds personal opinions and is where the ruler of Sagittarius resides right now. We all have an opinion or perspective into what is unfolding at a higher level. We could see some reviews of judicial decisions from previous cases. The big case that is in the spotlight is of course Donald Trump’s case. This will also be a time of reconsiderations to the immigration system and foreign policy. Concerns related to universities are tied into this equation, as we process new laws. Mercury here will give voice and concerns around Sagittarius related issues. Sagittarius can become exaggerated or extreme to some degree. Since Mercury will oppose Jupiter, it stands to reason that various issues related to personal opinions will be influential in this transit. Issues related to the law, lawyers or the legal system present largely. Agreements or negotiations can play a roll. Decisions can become way heavier due to the medial playing a roll in expressing the story.
We can see somethings unfolding shortly after the United States election, in relations to the courts or legalities being challenged in some manner. Contradictions are indicated with no real handle on the dialogue ensuing. Verbal challenges of suing or filing in the court of law. If you have had issues pertaining to the courts, this might be a time of reviewing such matters.
Issues concerning banking and wealth management, customs and tariffs related to foreign affairs. International trade and commerce come under scrutiny. Information is key with Sagittarius, through publishing, social media and literature. Concerns with sports or sporting venues or athletes. Along with gambling and betting issues. Institutions such as the sciences and religious components are brought into the conversations. Issues surrounding passports, travel documentation or travel in general.
Concerning the war or war measures, places connected are ammunition depots and barracks of warrior.
With any Mercury retrograde, we are moving fast within our intellectual conversations. Skipping most of the conversation and jumping to the end, which leads to confusion. There is little patience here as our minds moves faster than the conversation. People can be overextending the facts, with much innuendo and gossip attached. Making ourselves out to be much busier than we are. Mistakes made in early November will have to be corrected or be challenged.
Always take care on the roads with a Mercury retrograde as vehicles, electronics and paperwork can become lost in translation.
MERCURY OUT OF BOUNDS: NOV 6-30TH:
On top of Mercury’s retrograde, the little Hermes also moves out of bounds. When a planet is out of bounds, it doesn’t have to adhere to the demands of society. Expressions here can seem out of the ordinary, with solutions being a little far fetched in their presentation. Exaggerations are magnified and extreme. Yet, we might just discover a new way to communicate or express ourselves. This is when new words take hold, and everyone begins to use it in some form. Information is highlighted and new platforms can be initiated, which seem a bit over the top at first glance. Vehicles and transportation can advance with this position.
Watch for people spewing things out verbally that they didn’t intend to express. It often is the case that we don’t really have much control over what our mind is thinking and what our lips are expressing. Secrets can pop out here.
MARS IN LEO: SLOWING FOR IT’S RETROGRADE STATION IN DEC.
Mars enters Leo just after his 3-day opposition to Pluto from Nov 1-4th. This is a dynamic combination as these two titans stretch across the expanse of the skies and challenge each other’s perspectives. Mars is like your personal energy, motivation and activities. Pluto is a dominating force within society for control and power. This can spur us to arguments which are more politically driven or applying to social controls. There is kind of a will to overtake or dominate in some form here, which causes power struggles to emerge. Since Mars might not be able to overtake Pluto, there is an element of deception that can emerge. A sideways hustle to gain the upper hand over his opponents’ strength. Dictatorship is prominently expressed here and since Pluto is at the 29th degree, there is a determination to hang onto power at all costs. This is a survival aspect, which is both intense and difficult. There is a sense of being out of control, due to Mars opposing Pluto’s fearless stance, and pointing out the flaws in the performance. Criminality could be on the rise, with hidden elements surfacing for inspection when Mars stations retrograde.
Shortly after this tango, Mars sums up the courage to defend oneself as he steps into the competitive sign of Leo. Mars is fire, which blends well with the heat of the sun sign of Leo. This is grandstanding. Displays of ego, willpower and creativity. There was a sign of weakness when Mars was in Cancer, but we are soon to discover that weakness has now disappeared. There now is strong leadership qualities emerging to tackle the most challenging of events. A confidence to push through at all costs and gaining support from others. There is a need to be seen, with an all or nothing attitude of taking higher than usual risks to reach their goals. Others can underestimate their abilities as they keep activities hidden from view. A great strategist, and when exerted can lead to a bluntness and forcefulness that bull dozes people over. An intense need to gain status, where failure produces anger and resentment.
Issues surrounding children’s affairs or concerns are highlighted. Humanitarian issues in 2025 surface. Sporting events and gambling venues, which can hold sway within the stock markets. Leaders and the monarch positions can be challenged in some manner. The fixed nature of Leo can make it difficult to move things as people are inflexible. The arts and various actors can be influenced in some way. Creativity is demanded as a way for solutions to materialize.
SATURN STATIONS DIRECT @ 12 DEGREES OF PISCES: NOV 16TH, 2024.
This is an illusive position for Saturn, where the lines are blurred and boundaries shift. The direct motion highlights the fear of the unknown yet can product great faith in the unseen. Saturn will need to exert some structure into things which seem difficult to gain control over. Putting stress on various systems which require structure and consistency. This can signal a rebuilding beginning where infrastructure has been washed away. A prime example of this would be the hurricanes which moved through the southern United States. Strategies and planning can now move forward.
We can begin to gain some control over excessive worry or misfortunes. It’s hard to deal with Saturn in Pisces, as we change our minds to frequently and seem inconsistent in our direction. Plans fall apart as things change to rapidly. Nobody takes responsibility. Illusions appear as believable but are out of touch with reality. This direct motion can give us a sense of moving forward in a consistent manner, believing in whatever is workable to achieve our aims. Leaders are vague and wishy-washy, never really expressing the truth of the matter at hand. Politicians evasive and side stepping the truth of the matter.
Issues surrounding infrastructure, leadership, the workforce are highlighted, and plans can begin, no matter how bizarre they seem.
VENUS LANDS IN CAPRICORN: NOV 11TH, 2024. REMEMBRANCE DAY.
Venus travelling through the serious sign of Capricorn can push us to make commitments within relationships, partnerships or financial issues. It’s a demanding position to hold the line and to adhere to those we love at all costs. There is a need to be in control. To stick with something, even if it doesn’t really suit them well. Relationships are built on working together versus loving each other. It can be the main topic within the business at hand between two people. The remaining together can be a result of security or status. Pleasure is derived by advancements and achievements. There can be a sense of distance with little emotion like some sort of business arrangement.
Here we are attracted to older individuals to mentor us and guide us through. Since Saturn is in Pisces, we can feel lost without this guidance and are prone to being duped into believing things which are not necessarily true. Psychic phenomena can seem to be a reality in fact and quite believable. There can be adoration for those who are spiritual and a connection to things such as meditation, retreats, spas, spiritual quests or religious groups.
We are concerned here with structures, like properties and offices. Material goods and the work environment plays a roll in our attention. It’s a cold placement with little empathy unless some personal gains are made in some way. Traditional values are highlighted for November with some traditions being embraced heading into December. There is an allegiance to the rule of law and the game being played.
SATURN QUINTILE URANUS: NOV 27TH: 4TH PASS:
This is an exciting aspect in the mist of so much tension brewing in November. A quintile produces a harmonious positive connection between this father/son duo. Saturn in Pisces can make mush out of the structures that be. Adding confusion and unrealistic terms to leadership. Uranus in Taurus is also faulty, as Uranus seeks to break out of the traditional modes of Taurus values. Yet, the quintile can create skills to organize a chaotic situation. Most likely out of empathy and intuition rather than old fashion ideologies. However, the old fashion ways might play into a new innovative idea to create something out of a far fetch idea and perhaps make money at it or give it value in some way.
It's all about recognizing patterns. Like we can see the solution within the grid. Like threats of silver extending beyond our usual scope of sight and being downloaded with new innovative information to solve our problems. This creates creativity through uniqueness and novel approaches to achieving success. Structuring the materials in such a way, that some other than what we intended is produced. Creating a bit of shock to some degree, but well worth the journey.

Unravelling information and to step out of our comfort zone to embrace a new interest.
