DEC 3rd: NEPTUNE STATIONS DIRECT AT 22 DEGREES OF PISCES:

Slowly Neptune changes course. Like a ship upon the ocean, he pivots and reverses engines. This takes time, as he resists the backward compulsion against the ocean’s forward motion. It can seem as though we are slowly awakening from a very long dream. A vision we began on March 7, 2022. An inspiration that began to carry us away, begins to reset its course at this time. With Mars in square to Neptune, we’ve had interruptions to the vision. Hesitations as to how we will make our dreams a reality. Now we can continue as our creativity and faith re-emerges in the project or vision for our future.

DEC 7th: MERCURY INGRESSES INTO CAPRICORN:

Mercury remains in Capricorn for an extended period due to his retrograde station arriving later in the month. He will remain in this sign till Feb 11, 2023. Giving us an extended peak at his need to review Capricorn related issues. Wherever Capricorn resides in your chart, be aware of the reviews of the area it impacts. Mercury here, gives us a business sense. Full of common sense and the practicalities of life within our career and position. Status and station in life are key elements with Mercury here, which come up for discussion and review. There is a methodical processing of information for the pure purpose of gaining control. Strategies are implemented. Planning begins. Political advancements, recognition align themselves as productive traditions for progress. This is ambitious communication to gain both materially and publicly. Politician and government decisions will be present. New rules or regulations manifest into our reality. Practical values are implemented with precision. A goal is set, that falls into traditional ways of handling business matters. Corporations, government structures and persons in authoritative positions are highlighted in the news.

DEC 7th: FULL MOON IN GEMINI AT 16 DEGREES:

This Full Moon plays into the highly versatile energy of Gemini. Information will be a key element, redirecting our focus onto the media or medium which is influencing our actions and thoughts. It shines a bright light on the activities of Mars, now retrograde and exact conjunct and opposed to this Moon and Sun’s energy. The truth is reflected in this Moon and what actions that were taken in the past were brought about from innuendo rather then actual fact. The “what if” scenario, that never really happened. A play on possibilities rather then documented events. This can highlight protests, people publicly taking action due to past actions taken by governments, since Mercury is now in Capricorn. Forced action and protocols instilled upon the people out of fear. Perhaps an over exaggeration of the facts due to deceptive practices with Mercury square to Jupiter. It would indicate issues surrounding our dedication and commitment to various causes, perhaps out of trust. Right action. Reviews and inquiries can shine a light through the court systems on such activities and the personal freedoms afforded by the law. There is a real freedom of speech message instilled within this Moon. New decisions can be forth coming when Mars stations direct in Jan.

DEC 10th: VENUS ENTERS CAPRICORN:

Venus has just squared Jupiter the day before she enters the coolness of Capricorn. Putting a damper on our Christmas parties and social gatherings. Watch your spending.
Venus will remain in the beginning of Winter till Jan 2, 2023. Bringing in cooler temperatures and chilling our connections with one another. This is a time to slow down. Take your time, but enjoy the slowing journey of life as the snow falls and the chill sets in.
Venus here needs additional emotional security. Looking to rise in the ranks. It’s a dry energy, which is controlled in her goals and ambitions. A time of constraint and tight budgets to ensure future retirement and positions. Expect some financial leadership with some budgets. Pensions and the security of old age income. A commitment to the long haul. The creation of structured clean lined artistic venues. People are rather stingy here and the bottom-line matters. Business dealings are at hand. Calculating motives to ensure success.

DEC 12th: MERCURY ENTERS HIS SHADOW PERIOD IN CAPRICORN:

This is when we can start to have some difficulty with Mercury stationing retrograde. If possible, it would be wise to have your Christmas presents purchase prior to Dec 10th, lest you find fault in your electronic devices or parcel delivery. Wherever you have 8 degrees of Capricorn expect to have issues now connected to Jan 15-21st for resolution.

SUN WILL ALSO SEXTILE SATURN:

Giving us an element of patience to wait for what we desire. There is clarity of thought with practical solutions to blockages. A perseverance to keep on going despite odds. A steady constitution of wills.

DEC 14th: SUN SQUARES NEPTUNE:

Oh, what tales we can weave, as we create our own illusions of grandeur. Expect heavy snow fall in some locations or rain in others. Possible flooding in some locations. Imagination soars with this aspect, and truth is blurred by perhaps too much alcohol or substance abuse. I would avoid too much party here as there is a tendency to go overboard. Don’t believe everything you hear, least you fall into some trap and please don’t spend too much on those quick rich schemes.

DEC 15th: MERCURY SQUARES CHIRON:

This might be a good day to address any old standing issues you have with others. Try to clear the air. But then again you might just say something that is a little hurtful that triggers you into breaking open those old patterns or response. Go to the spa instead and do a deep cleanse of the body and mind.

DEC 16th: MERCURY INCONJUNCT MARS:

These two will rejoin in this aspect come Jan 15th through to the 21st. This is a hesitative aspect. Recognizing that one is caught in some sort of communication blunder. The actions to get out of this are daunting as one is trapped within the confines of protocol. Either way, you will need to be cautious here since some issue needs to be resolved. Travel plans can be delayed or even postponed due to high winds and heavy snow. Watch while travelling. Make sure you have all your paperwork in order and pay attention to the details.

DEC 17th: MERCURY TRINE URANUS:

This is the first connection of three to transpire with Mercury and Uranus: The second is on Jan 9th and the third is Jan 29th, 2023. This is a positive insight to problem solving. Pleasant surprises are indicated. There’s a genius energy here that brings forth discoveries, scientific breakthroughs and inventive natures pushing us into the future. Great advances in technologies and interests in artificial intelligence. Space travel and talk of solutions to environmental and humanitarian issues.

DEC 20/21st: WINTER SOLSTICE: SUN ENTERS CAPRICORN:

The beginning of winter in the northern hemisphere. The Sun reaches its farthest declination south at 23 degrees 26 minutes. Remaining there until Dec 24th. The Sun then enters the coolness of Capricorn, marking the beginning of the winter season. The Sun will be in direct square with Jupiter also newly in Aries for his second time. The first being from May 11th to Oct 27th, 2022. The Moon in Sagittarius is ruled by this Jupiter. Pushing the people once again to act through their belief systems or what they believe is justice. Enthusiasm with an avid zeal for adventure drives us forward until Jupiter enters Taurus on the 16th of May. This sets the stage for the winter season. With the Sun adamantly opposed to the actions of Jupiter and the people. Those in positions of leadership can be challenged by the population at large. What we believe in will matter. Large personal movements can be rising. There is an exaggeration of the goals and expectation emerging. Too much extravagance by those in positions of authority can cause self destruction.

DEC 22nd: VENUS TRINE URANUS:

This is a lovely energy, especially if you have been looking for a Christmas bonus. A very fortunate, exciting energy that brings windfalls or a chance encounter with that special someone. If this is plugging into your chart, expect some good fortune to ride your coat tails.

DEC 23rd: NEW MOON IN CAPRICORN AT THE 1ST DEGREE:

There is a very serious Full Moon rising as Christmas approaches. It is the 2nd of 5 Full Moon’s arriving at the 1st degree of the signs. This is a fresh start, whereby we look at things practically. It draws us back, setting parameters to reach our goals. This is a Moon energy that pushes us to rise in our positions through dedication, persistence, and a clear vision of what we need to do next to accomplish our successes. To be recognized for our worth in the organization or established order of things. There is a push for traditional ways, where we earn our strips by painstakingly working long hours and committing to the cause for the rewards at the end. There is a tight square to Jupiter in Aries, addressing the individual needs for freedom and the corporate strictness to adhere to policies. This may produce a backlash from the individual versus the government or political agenda. There is tension between the future vision and the old mandates which are no longer working. Yet the reset button is pressed to continue as usual. Saturn in the visionary sign of Aquarius seems to be no longer resisting the futuristic potentials. It’s drawing new lines in the sand as Uranus now rules his direction. Uranus remains close to the North Node, also pushing for changes. What we value and the worth or cost of things is highlighted. Uranus trines Venus, pushing us to break free from those restrictions and to begin to forge a new path of values. A new structure begins to form, as we lay the foundation of new business models.

DEC 23rd: JUPITER SEMI-SQUARE URANUS:

This is a frustrating aspect, since there is the emergence of a potential problem arising. Through the surprising nature of Uranus and the extravagances of Jupiter we could have our hands full in settling the energy. We can feel like breaking away, because the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence. Unsettled energy can filter into the personal pockets of wage earners with upsetting results to the income of the individual. Expect some storms, electrical problems in various locations. Sudden earthquakes. Potential cyber attacks or faulty networks on the internet. Air travel will also be impacted.

DEC 23rd: CHIRON STATIONS DIRECT IN ARIES:

Perhaps we’ve put our own concerns on hold for a bit. Now it’s time to come back to self to address those pressing concerns of yours. Our review of our deep wounds and past hurts have been revisited. Now its time to take the necessary action to clear the air by being honest with yourself and your needs.

DEC 24th: MERCURY SEXTILE NEPTUNE: CHRISTMAS EVE:

This is a lovely aspect to arrive during the Christmas festivities. It is the first of three connections through Mercury’s retrograde station. The second occurring on Jan 2nd and the final on Feb 6, 2023. This is indeed a “vision of sugarplums dancing in our heads”. Imagination soars with excitement for the little ones. Opportunities to create a vision for the future along with faithful expressed endearments. It’s a magical aspect that can indeed bring miracles. Words of hope and faith this Christmas Season.

DEC 25th: CHRISTMAS DAY:

The Moon enters Aquarius, which indicates people wishing for electronics under that old Christmas Tree. Something different and exciting. It’s a sign which enjoys the festivities with compassion for those who are perhaps left out in the cold. Do something out of the ordinary this Christmas day. Start a new tradition or volunteer. Be of service in some way. We’re often distant here in this sign, where we’d rather connect with others on a larger scale through the internet or television.

DEC 26th: BOXING DAY IN CANADA:

Many of you will be heading down to the mall or cashing in on some boxing day sales. No doubt those electronics will be the item of choice with the Moon still in Aquarius. Lots of social events will be happening. Too bad they don’t have those Boxing Day dances any longer.

DEC 28th: VENUS SEXTILE NEPTUNE:

This is a very dreamy aspect. Full of illusions or possibilities. It promotes love, with an opportunity for that knight on the white stallion to come galloping up and sweep you off your feet. Or the knight sees his damsel in distress, and she sweeps him off his feet. A great day to propose marriage. Commitments are made here with Venus in the serious sign of Capricorn. It’s an exciting hopeful energy. Expect others to be graciously generous and compassionate towards others.

DEC 29th: MERCURY STATIONS RETROGRADE IN CAPRICORN:

Oh, the seriousness of it all as Mercury stations at 24 degrees of Capricorn. Having remained at this degree since the 27th of December. Returning to it on Feb 27th at 24 degrees and breaks new ground on the 8th of Feb.

These retrograde stations are always a review, revisitation, and redirection of energy. Old business matters are essential in clearing way for new models come February. Expect to have or run into old colleagues or people you use to work with. Issues surrounding government protocols or mandates are also up for review. Decisions related to leadership and the boss at the company. It can be challenging, as decisions will be based on past commitments. Traditions or legislature can be altered. Business transactions can be put on hold. Watch the fine print if forming a partnership or business connection. Reviewing of papers, job descriptions or dedication in these areas are highlighted. Where are you really going and what are you striving for in your ambitions become the key question.

DEC 31st: NEW YEARS EVE:

We are ending another year. An evening of celebration about what 2023 will bring us. Perhaps with Mercury stationing retrograde, we wish to go back to straighten out some things before we can move on. It’s a Saturday evening, bringing out more people then expected. The Moon’s in Aries, signaling a personal flair to the dress code. Flashy and changeable with Mars in Gemini. It's an active evening with people indecisive about what they really want to do. A restlessness for seeking more excitement instead of being content in where they went first. Thus, the night can end on an early note. We’re all pulling for our own desires without consideration of the other party with us. A selfishness I suppose to just break free from the constraints of the group. You may find yourself alone if one is not careful. It’s an all or nothing evening. Drive safe and look after yourself.
